New DLC out for Dawn of War 2: Retribution

To all my fellow Dawn of War 2: Retribution fans, Relic has just released a few juicy pieces of DLC to sate our 41st millennium cravings.

The Tau Commander in all his tabletop glory

First up is the Tau Commander DLC pack, which adds aforementioned character to the "Last Stand" multiplayer mode.

This Japanese anime mechwarrior looking little fella comes complete with all newly designed and unique wargear, which will allow you to customize your bipedal robot friend to your specific liking.

And here in all his digital glory!

The other two pieces of DLC are custom packs for Chaos Space Marines and Imperial Guard.

Video look at Dawn of War 2: Retribution multiplayer

I made good on my threat to fraps some game footage with comments.

The public demanded (or well, there was one guy) that I show you some Dawn of War 2: Retribution, so I have recorded and commented on a game I played of me facing off as the Eldar vs Chaos.

No one expects the Inquisition!

If you're interested in more info about the universe I have written a piece about why I love Warhammer 40k that you should totally check out

I hope you find the video entertaining and/or informative.

"I just like to watch" -Dawn of War 2 casting

You may already know that I like me some Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 2 (DoW2), as it made it into my personal top 10 video game list.

However DoW2 is a demanding game when you're playing 1 versus 1 multiplayer.
You have to constantly be on top of your game, giving orders to your units all over the battlefield and keep track of when to build what units.

Too much stuff going on... can't... keep track

Sometimes I get the DoW2 cravings, but I really just want to sit back and relax, while someone else is doing all that hard work of actually playing the game.

Warhammer 40k and things that make you go Waaaaaagh!

The front cover of the Space Marine Codex from Games Workshop

Warhammer 40k holds a special place in my Sci-fi loving heart.

I have always had a soft spot for the big space battles of Star Wars, the grim dystopian feel of Blade Runner or Neuromancer and the visceral carnage of a good alien vs man battle featured in films like Aliens or Starship Troopers.
